Centennial College Anime & Manga Club · Effective July 15, 2026
Centennial-Chan is the student-run website of the Centennial College Anime & Manga Club. We collect the minimum needed to run a club site, and we don't sell or advertise with any of it. Ever.
What we collect
Account info — if you create a member account: your email address, a display name you choose, and an optional avatar. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us; we never see your Google password.
Things you post — bulletin-board notes, replies, article submissions, and any images you upload with them. These are visible to other visitors by design.
C-Chan chat — messages you type to the chat widget are processed to generate a reply. Don't put personal details in there; she's a mascot, not a confidant.
Where it lives
Accounts, posts, and uploads are stored with Supabase (servers in Canada), and the site is hosted on Vercel. Your browser also stores small local preferences — like light/dark theme and your sign-in session — on your own device.
What we don't do
No advertising, no selling or sharing data with third parties, no tracking you around the internet. Anime data on the site (seasonal charts, search) comes from MyAnimeList's public API and involves none of your personal information.
Removing your stuff
You can delete your own posts and replies on the site. To delete your whole account and its content, email us at centennialchan@gmail.com and an organizer will take care of it.
Changes & contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions? Same email as above, or ask on the club Discord — someone's always around.
